In 2013, True Primal was born to fill a void. We wanted delicious, paleo-friendly, ready-to-eat meals made to the same standards we would cook for ourselves—but it turned out, they didn't exist. We decided to change that. Every product is crafted to meet rigorous standards of quality, taste, and alignment with human health. That means superior animal proteins from high-welfare livestock. Organic vegetables and herbs. No gluten, grains, dairy, preservatives, or refined or artificial sweeteners. All in convenient ready-to-eat form.

As part of our commitment to the health of both people and the planet, we support conscious agricultural practices with every ingredient we choose. That means sourcing animal products from high-welfare livestock that live and eat as nature intended, and seeking out organic vegetables from regenerative farms whenever possible.

Our chicken meat is beyond free-range: it comes from 100% pastured, high-welfare, heritage breed chickens that are GAP-4 certified. We use more of the whole bird — white and dark meat with skin for more balanced nutrition and flavor. No antibiotics administered ever. No hormones administered ever.

We did the cooking! Just heat and serve. No refrigeration necessary means our soups are great for grab and go — whether you're off to school, work, the gym — or just your couch.
